Let’s get some perspective!
Mastering composition and perspective – a children’s illustrator guide.
Multi-award-winning artist, graphic and textile designer and children’s book illustrator, Tannya Harricks, takes us on an interactive flight with the stroke of a paintbrush in this exclusive, one-time workshop to teach the art of composition, perspective and book layouts. She will guide you through your own work and answer all of your illustration questions.
In this workshop you will learn:
- Tannya will present some of her images and take you through her illustration process.
- You will have the opportunity to engage with a Creative Drawing activity warm up exercise.
- Advice related to allowing for space for text within layouts/composition.
- Hands-on time for participants to sketch an object from two different perspectives with demonstration and guidance from Tannya.
- Opportunity for discussion about the exercise and question time* to find out more from Tannya. *Questions for Tannya may be emailed to justwriteforkidsblog@gmail.com before the session.
