It was so exciting to announce the Longlists for the 2022 Pitch It! Competition last week! Today, we are absolutely BUZZING, because we are about to reveal the fabulous Pitch It! Shortlists! These talented writers will all receive feedback on their pitches from our hard-working judges.
Although the standard across the board was phenomenal, with many entries just missing the list by a tenth of a decimal point, the following pitches stood out to the judges. They created a high level of intrigue, originality, emotion and well-crafted flow, and particularly, an enticing hook upfront and a clear point of difference.
Huge thanks once again to Debra Tidball, Stef Gemmill, Amelia McInerney, Kate Gordon and Crystal Corocher xx
So, without further ado, here are the SHORTLISTS for the TOP pitches. Congratulations to all!
*This year, we are only announcing the Shortlists for our Picture Book and Junior Fiction / Middle Grade categories. Our Young Adult winners will be announced at the final winners’ post. Thank you for your understanding.
