What a thrill and what a great response from our community as we celebrated the excitement of the 2024 Pitch It! Competition LONGLISTS last week! Again, congratulations to all!

Today, we are revealing our fabulous SHORTLISTS for our Picture Book, Non-Fiction Picture Book, Junior Fiction and Middle Grade winners! These talented writers will be awarded with personalised certificates and feedback on their pitches from our hard-working judges.

The following pitches stood out to the judges for their high level of intrigue, originality, emotion and well-crafted flow, and particularly, an enticing hook upfront and a clear point of difference.

Huge thanks once again to Aleesah Darlison, Cassy PolimeniDebra Tidball, Kate Gordon and David Lawrence xx

Here they are – the SHORTLISTS for each category. Hooray!

Congratulations to…
