I’m saying it again this year – WOW! The quality of pitches continues to improve each year, not only being well-crafted and professionally written, but also hitting the brief perfectly in engagement, tone and originality. The range of topics, themes and concepts were so varied and interesting, and suitably geared towards their given target market. Publishers would certainly be impressed by these commercial standards! CONGRATULATIONS to everyone for your knock-out pitches in our 2024 Pitch It! Competition!

Our judges took on the enormous task of careful contemplation within their categories. HUGE appreciation goes to our highly experienced industry professionals. For our picture book and non-fiction picture book categories, Aleesah Darlison, Cassy Polimeni and Debra Tidball. For both the junior fiction and middle grade categories, Kate Gordon and David Lawrence. Thank you all xx

So, without further ado, here are the all-important LONGLISTS!
