Kim de Haan
Kim creates illustrations for kids that are warm and optimistic. She mostly works digitally, but likes to incorporate texture and sketchy details to bring in that hand-drawn element. It took her over a decade working in architecture and design to realise she wanted to be on the other side of the book too. Now, Kim writes and illustrates stories for kids that are warm, quirky and optimistic.
Kim lives on Guringai Land in Sydney Australia. If she’s not creating stories, she’s probably chasing around her two kids, cooking up something delicious with her husband, or sneaking in some painting time.
