AT THE GOING DOWN OF THE SUN AND IN THE MORNING

WE WILL REMEMBER THEM

‘On the 11th of November, 1918, the guns on the Western Front fell silent after four long years of war. The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month attained a special significance of the war. That moment when hostilities ceased became universally associated with the remembrance of those who died in the war.’

With much respect and gratitude, we are honoured to have experienced and shared in such a significant part of our Australian culture, traditions and history throughout the Australia Remembers blog tour. We have been reminded of our proud, national spirit of today and how this has been shaped by those who bravely fought for our country. Allison Paterson has certainly enlivened our sense of awareness through her highly engaging content that is sure to leave a lasting impression. Thank you!

Celebrate and commemorate the spirit of Australia Remembers by remembering the entire tour at this archived page here.

It was an honour to participate in this blog tour. Allison’s presentation of the information for young children is spot-on and fills a much needed gap in the market. Lest we forget.
