I’d love to win this book to read to my young grandchildren. I know it would be a perfect choice for them to become aware of our past and hopefully learn from it for the future of world peace. I have read other books written by Allison Paterson & I know she is a great researcher and superb writer.
We completely agree! Allison is an amazing writer and presenter and knows exactly how to engage young children. Thanks for your comment, Julie! Good luck! 🙂
I would like to win a copy of this book for my grandchildren. Many of their ancestors served in the First and others in the Second World War. I think this book would provide them with a deep understanding of an appreciation for the sacrifices that were made to enable us to have the lifestyle which we enjoy so much today.
That would be amazing for your grandchildren to understand their ancestry and have that connection. Thanks Norah! Good luck! 🙂
Thank you, Romi. 🙂

Memories are the cornerstone of our lives. Remembering Anzac Day and the reasons our brave soldiers fought for Australia is why I would like to win a copy of this book. Reading aloud to my grandchildren makes the journey even better. And the poppies and rosemary are so symbolic too. Thanks Allison for enriching our lives through the past and into the future.
Beautifully written. Thank you, Marg, for your lovely message. X
